Leather care
Your Belt
At Your Belt you choose a custom made belt. Please note that there may be a difference in the structure and small color differences are characteristic of real leather. Different leathers react differently to dyes and wear and tear, and the accessory may change appearance over time. Excessive use of Your Belt may cause the gold initials to fade, this is a natural process and is excluded from Your Belt's warranty.
Advice
Proper care is recommended: contact with paint, perfume or anything containing alcohol can cause damage. If you keep your accessory away from direct sunlight, heat, humidity and water, it will last longer. Exposure to make-up, oils, dyes and dark denim can stain leather and be difficult to remove. Protect your leather from water, as this can cause stains on the belt. If your Your Belt belt gets wet, simply dab it with a lint-free, absorbent cloth of a light color.
To maintain the best appearance for longer periods of time, we recommend avoiding exposure to extreme temperatures, abrasive surfaces, moisture and oil-based conditions.
Guarantee
The Your Belt belt has a limited manufacturer's warranty of 2 years. The warranty starts on the date of delivery. The warranty offers benefits that are also extra and that do not affect your rights as a consumer.
Before you can work on a Your Belt belt, you will be asked for proof of purchase. Without this proof, all work performed will be charged at standard rates. All Your Belt belts are fully warranted against defects in material or workmanship. Our warranty does not cover product damage that may result from abnormal wear and tear, accidental damage caused by the user, errors due to intentional or negligent use or any other handling. Any repairs or modifications performed by a third party other than Your Belt are not supported by Your Belt.
Do not put the Your Belt belt in a washing machine or tumble dryer. Do not wring, bleach, iron and do not dry clean. However, the warranty does not cover abuse, so any problems that arise as a result of improper washing or drying may void this limited warranty.
